Disinformation narrative targeting political opponent Alexei Navalny and Western vaccines against COVID-19. The death of political prisoner Alexei Navalny is still under investigation but the deceased Russian dissident spent his final days in one of Russia's harshest prisons. Furthermore, he almost died in 2020 after he was poisoned with a nerve agent. No causality between the Pfizer vaccine and the death of any patient has been established so far as summarised by FactCheck.org:
"More than half a billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have now been administered in the U.S. and only a few, very rare, safety concerns have emerged. The vast majority of people experience only minor, temporary side effects such as pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, or muscle pain — or no side effects at all.
