DISINFO: All strategic choices of France are dictated by Brussels, Macron has no power
SUMMARY
Macron has no power. It is not him who decides. Macron is only a governor of the province of France, of a kind of entity under the domination of an industrial financial oligarchy that took power in Brussels. He’s only pretending to have power which he has not. There is a big secret in French politics: all big strategic choices (privatisation of SNCF, EDF, the attacks on pensions, labour law…) are codified by the report on strategy for economic policies published yearly in Brussels in order to favour the convergence of economies, to save the euro.
RESPONSE
No evidence given. French presidents are exceptionally powerful compared to leaders of other advanced democracies. The Broad Economic Policy Guidelines (also known as GOPÉ), established by Article 121 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), are 'recommendations for economic policy guidelines' (fiscal policy, structural reforms, wage negotiations, sustainable development policies, etc.) addressed each year to the Member States. As recommendations, they do not have the force of law. EDF (Electricity of France) is partly privatised since 2004, but is still controlled by the French State. A further strategy of profitability of the EDF is being discussed regardless Broad Economic Policy Guidelines. The privatisation of railway company SNCF has not happened.
