DISINFO: An upcoming EU collapse will make Ukrainians realise their mistakes
SUMMARY
Ukrainian and Western propagandists have made Russophobes out of Ukrainians. They went into believing that Ukrainians will be appointed as ‘gauleiters’ over Russia. The present-day generation of Ukrainians have a wrong understanding of life and history. It will take a very long time for Russia to come to terms with them. However, the most important thing is that Ukraine will not be Nato’s polygon. The EU will likely collapse in the coming years, and the EU collapse will be the key event for Ukrainians to realise their misconceptions.

This article contains several recurrent pro-Kremlin claims and disinformation about the EU's imminent collapse, of anti-Russian western actions and of Nazi Ukraine. It also promotes the ‘Russophobia’ claim – a regular attempt to delegitimise any criticism of Russia's actions.
Pro-Kremlin outlets regularly speak about an upcoming EU collapse. In early 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic spreae in the EU, they claimed that Europe’s political map can change within months and that “many European states will likely cease to exist”. The pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Nazi Ukraine, manifested by the word ‘gauleiter’ used in the article, has served as one of the pretexts for the Russian invasion of Ukraine and continues to be actively used by the pro-Kremlin outlets as one of the favorite tropes to denigrate Ukraine. It has been debunked several times.
Speaking about the prevention of making Ukraine a ‘Nato polygon’, the article justifies the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII. Putin had offered several false claims for launching aggression, including the necessity to save territories in Eastern Ukraine from a genocide, Ukraine’s alleged desire to obtain nuclear weapons and Kyiv’s possible membership of NATO.
