DISINFO: Anglo-Saxons resort to terror and attempt to kill their opponents

SUMMARY

The Anglo-Saxons have resorted to open terror and attempts to physically eliminate their opponents, as evidenced by the assassination attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. There have been threats of physical violence against Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Prominent leaders of the emerging multipolar world are now under attack. The West refuses to acknowledge that the era of its undisputed dominance has come to an end. It is not that Washington and London fail to understand the reality of the situation, but their colonial mindset and deeply ingrained racism make them resistant to change. At times, however, the Anglo-Saxons lose their composure. This is evident in their shift towards open terror and attempts to physically eliminate opponents. Their preferred formula of 'fill or kill' now clearly leans toward the latter.

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative and a conspiracy theory about the allegedly aggressive and corrupt West, which aims to suppress everyone who holds a different opinion.

The allegation that Western nations are involved in ‘open terror’ or attempting to ‘physically eliminate opponents’ lacks any credible evidence. There is no proof linking the so-called ‘Anglo-Saxons’ (a term often used by Russian officials to refer broadly to the United States and the United Kingdom) or any other Western country to the assassination attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico or threats against Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

By issuing disinformation statements about the West’s allegedly racist policies and colonial mindset, pro-Kremlin outlets attempt to shift focus away from Russia’s own domestic and international issues, such as its unprovoked and unjustified aggression against Ukraine or internal human rights abuses. Russia employs this narrative to position itself as a leader in the so-called multipolar world and as an ally to nations striving for independence from perceived Western dominance. This claim is also part of a broader hybrid warfare campaign to paint the West as hypocritical and morally corrupt and undermine its credibility on the global stage.

Read similar disinformation cases claiming that The West is behind the attempted murder of Slovak PM Robert Fico, that The West is instigating Ukraine to carry out acts of nuclear terrorism, and that Anglo-American spies try to destabilise Central Asia using Al Qaeda and ISIS.
