RESPONSE

This massage promotes the claims of the Kremlin and Ramzan Kadyrov about “peaceful and stable” Chechnya.

It is possible that the Russian authorities might provide security for occasional tourists, visiting Chechnya, but for its own population, Chechnya remains one of the most dangerous places in Russia. Since 2005 (de facto), it is run by Ramzan Kadyrov, a harsh ruler who imposed an extremely violent neo-totalitarian Islamist regime in Chechnya. There is profound evidence for large-scale violence, tortures, murders of regular Chechens by Kadyrov’s subordinates. The death squadrons of Kadyrov also operate in Europe, eliminating his run-away opponents. In 2017, the Russian media presented information about massive anti-gay purges in Chechnya. Despite the claims of Kadyrov about “total peace and stability” in Chechnya, this Republic continues to face regular violent incidents and attacks on security functionaries.

This message appears in the same article as the claim that Navalny was planted in the German-Russian relations by the American and British special services.
