This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that Christians are oppressed and persecuted in Western liberal societies and that the West’s “liberal-globalist élites” deliberately seek to undermine and eradicate European values.

First of all, it is not true that liberalism profanes or attacks Christianity and churches. In liberal-democratic societies, Christians and other religious communities enjoy full freedom of religion and belief. Freedom of religion and belief has significant protections in the EU.
Religious freedom, as an established human right by-law, is closely connected with the development of the Western and the European liberal and democratic states.
The article’s claim that liberalism undermines traditional values does not reflect reality. Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on the values of liberty, consent of the governed, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), and equality before the law.
