DISINFO: CIA and Deep State using Ukraine against Russia as in attack against airfields
SUMMARY
The US is destroying Ukraine and uses it to wage war against Russia. This has been evident for many years - the US pressure on Ukraine to keep fighting and not accepting neutrality, etc. This is a project from the US Deep State of the military-industrial complex that dates back decades. The goal of these actions has nothing to do with Ukraine, as the goal is to weaken Russia. The attacks against Russian military airfields, of course Ukraine couldn’t carry out them on its own. This is an operation of Western intelligence. The CIA does not tell many things about this White House.
RESPONSE
This is a an attempt to exploit the aftermath of the Ukrainian drone raid on 01 June 2025 to promote several recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about the war in Ukraine as a proxy conflict against Russia, and about a so-called Deep State in the US acting above elected officials.
After this Ukrainian attack on Russian airbases, pro-Kremlin disinformation has been pushing the narrative that Ukraine could have not carried out such an operation by itself and that other powerful actors had to take part.
However, this allegation is baseless: the attack involved Ukrainian home-made drones, a booming industry in Ukraine, intelligence operatives and local individuals unaware of the plot. Ukrainian authorities and intelligence services immediately provided ample information on how they carried out the raid, and nothing has emerged afterwards pointing to any foreign participation.
Allegations about the US exploiting Ukraine against Russia and preventing it from accepting ‘neutrality’ are an attempt to undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty while deflecting Russia’s responsibility for its unprovoked and brutal aggression against its neighbour by falsely framing it as a ‘defensive’ move.
Mentions to a supposed Deep State and the CIA acting behind the back of the Trump Administration in Ukraine are an attempt to undermine democratic institutions, by portraying decision-making as the realm of secret elites with regular citizens having no real power.
