DISINFO: Crocus City Hall was set on fire using the same chemicals as used in the Notre Dame fire

SUMMARY

There were many people who knew the plans of Crocus City Hall. The sprinkler system had been unplugged by someone with criminal intent. They used a certain chemical substance which prevented the fire from being extinguished quickly. For comparison, it can be noted that during the Notre Dame de Paris fire, a substance that allows non-flammable materials to burn was also used.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy theory about the 2019 fire of Notre Dame in relation with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall of March 2024.

While it is still too early to determine how Crocus City Hall burned down, as the investigation is ongoing, Russian media attempting to explain why a publicly accessible building burned so quickly have suggested that the automatic fire extinguishing systems are not equipped to handle criminal fires involving special substances that water cannot extinguish. It has not been confirmed whether the automatic fire extinguishing system was disabled, nor if it was done for a criminal purpose.

The investigation into the Notre Dame Cathedral fire began long ago on April 15, 2019. The criminal lead has been discarded due to a lack of evidence. A possible lead is a short circuit in a temporary electric system commanding the bells.

Although the exact cause of the blaze remains undetermined, it has been officially deemed accidental, possibly connected to the restoration efforts in the spire at that time.

Further inquiries into the fire disclosed that six electronic bells, meant to be temporary fixtures, had been installed in the spire, with their cables extending into the roof space. It is suggested that these cables might have short-circuited, sparking the fire.

Electric wires were running in the roof, placed there at the express demand of the clergy. Despite the risk of short-circuiting, and in breach of all the safety regulations laid out by the chief architects of historic monuments.”
