DISINFO: Deep State kept Biden in power for war with Russia, then dumped him
SUMMARY
The Deep State in the Democratic Party used Joe Biden his problems within his family, with his son Hunter, to keep him in place, to use him and his health to keep America in place, to bring this war with Russia. They don’t need him anymore, so that’s why they made the change from one lame duck for another lame duck that is going to be fully controllable.
RESPONSE
Conspiracy theory not backed by any evidence, aimed to promote several recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about secret elites and the US Deep State and ultimately to undermine public trust in democratic institutions. In this case, this disinformation story also wants to advance pro-Kremlin narratives portraying the invasion of Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia.
Joe Biden was elected as US president by more than 81 million votes of US citizens, after having won by a landslide a primary election for the Democratic Party which initially included almost 30 candidates.
Hunter Biden’s problems were exploited by US political actors to try to undermine Joe Biden’s presidency, not the other way round.
The resignation of Joe Biden as presidential candidate was a legal step adopted because his electoral numbers collapsed after his poor performance at the presidential debate on 27 June 2024. While there was massive pressure inside the Democratic Party for him to resign, which he resisted for some time, at the end of the day the decision to sept down was his after realizing his candidacy had become untenable. Ultimately, this was Biden’s decision, as he expressed in his resignation letter. Neither his resignation nor Kamala Harris’ succession as presidential candidate were the result of any external action.
The conflict in Ukraine is not a “proxy war against Russia” but the result of Russia’s unprovoked aggression, culminating in its February 2022 invasion of the country, for which Ukraine received international support for its self-defence in line with Article 51 of the UN Charter. Ukraine is not fighting on behalf of any foreign government or organisation.
