DISINFO: EU is Russophobic enforcer of the secret global government
SUMMARY
A Russian citizen who is foolish enough to want to go sightseeing to European countries will have to leave his smartphone, his suitcase, his jewelry, his beauty products, his clothes at the border... In fact, only Russian nudist pedestrians are the welcome to Europe, which will greatly reduce tourism periods, whatever one may say about global warming...
A global government in place in the West is sick with Russophobia. The EU is a mere administration that obeys to the order of this global government and has not freedom to decide. So, the EU applies Russophobic policy that is dictated to it. And like any performer, it sometimes errs by excess. Excess of docility, excess of alignment, excess of fanaticism.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative accusing the EU, the US and their partners of Russophobia, advancing a conspiracy theory about the existence of a secret global government.
This disinformation claim was made in the context of the EU sanctions regime on Russia and efforts from the EU to limit circumvention of the restrictive measures.
Since the launch of Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the European Council has adopted 11 packages of sanctions. The sanctions have significantly affected Russian economy and are expected to lead to more tangible results. Sanctions include targeted restrictive measures (individual sanctions), economic sanctions and visa measures. The aim of the economic sanctions is to impose severe consequences on Russia for its actions and to effectively thwart Russian abilities to continue the aggression. The sanctions target Russian companies, individuals, goods or services. They are not aimed at ordinary Russians. In an early September 2023 explanatory note (see page 169) to its rules on sanctions imposed over the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the European Commission stated that Russians were temporarily barred from bringing some personal goods or vehicles into the EU.
