None of the states neighboring Ukraine, except Russia, has any territorial claims to Ukraine. Poland has repeatedly and categorically denied statements by the Russian leadership about the intentions of these countries to “occupy Ukrainian territories.”
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, during a speech in the Polish Sejm on April 25, 2024, once again refuted the Russian narrative. “Russia is lying about Poland's alleged plans to annex parts of Ukraine. Donbas is Ukraine; Crimea is Ukraine. Lviv, Volyn, former Eastern Galicia are also Ukraine. Therefore, I repeat so that the Kremlin can hear: Lviv is Ukrainian,” Sikorsky said.
