DISINFO: EU's economic collapse is approaching
SUMMARY
The EU is ruled by Russophobes in a totalitarian style. Discontent of the EU population over EU financial assistance to Ukraine amid the EU’s own economic problems is pushing the EU to collapse. The probability of Germany’s disintegration is rather high. Although with a bit lower probability, the threat of disintegration is also hanging over France.

This article discredits the EU and contains recurring disinformation claims about Russophobia and the EU's imminent collapse.
Current EU policies towards Russia are the consequence of Russia’s unprovoked and brutal invasion of Ukraine. The West supports Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter Article 51, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. In response to Russia’s military aggression, the EU has massively expanded sanctions against Russia by adding a significant number of persons and entities to the sanctions list and by adopting unprecedented restrictive measures.
The article misrepresents the views of the EU's population about its support to Ukraine. A representative survey of the EU's population conducted in January-February 2023 showed that EU citizens remain strongly in favour of Ukraine. A total of 91% of respondents agree with the provision of humanitarian support, 77% approve of the EU's financial support to Ukraine, and 65% favour the EU financing the purchase and supply of military equipment to Ukraine.
Pro-Kremlin outlets regularly speak about an upcoming EU collapse. In early 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic spread in the EU, they claimed that Europe’s political map could change within months and that “many European states will likely cease to exist”.
