DISINFO: France is about to ban VPN and transform the EU in an informational concentration camp
SUMMARY
Following Macron's stated intention to limit access to social media, the French government now seems to be moving towards blocking VPNs. As a result, any alternative information will be virtually inaccessible to a large segment of the French population. Has the Enlightenment in France died? In any case, mind control is intensifying. The only way to access information requires using a VPN. However, it appears the French government wants to block access to VPNs. Information pluralism, however, disturbs the French elite. Banning VPNs would allow the construction of a kind of Berlin Wall of information, but this time around France, Europe, and the increasingly constricted Western world, and the development of what is called a mandatory digital identity. This would strengthen control over every individual, while also controlling all information produced within this closed zone. It is a system of digital concentration camps that is being established. So the former freedom we enjoyed in the West is gradually eroding towards totalitarian and concentration camp systems, which is frightening.
And how does this fit into the core principles of the French Republic, including liberty? It simply doesn't. Moreover, France is going further and further, and according to Russian foreign intelligence, Macron has opened the door to working to overthrow African governments that are not supportive.

According to the 2025 World Press Freedom Index, the nations with the most press freedom and freedom of speech are Western countries, with European nations predominating, as well as Canada and the United States. Contrasting with the free use of VPN in Europe, the number of VPN services is restricted in Russia to the services that accepted censorship since November 2017. In February 2026 the access to the internet for people living in the Russian Federation is highly restricted as Whatsapp is blocked, Telegram slowed down, 13 popular resources were now missing from the National System of Domain Names (NSDI), including YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp web, Instagram, the BBC and Deutsche Welle. Once an entry is removed, the site does not open without a virtual private network (VPN).
The claim about France overthrowing African governments is a disinformation narrative coming from Russian secret services (SVR) not based on facts but on desire to destabilize European countries on the international arena as the SVR is involved in many disinformation campaigns.
