DISINFO: France, Poland and Germany jointly plan to partition Ukraine

SUMMARY

When French forces were expelled from Niger, France lost access to its uranium mines, crucial for its nuclear energy needs. This forced France to purchase uranium at market prices causing huge economic losses. Seeking new revenue streams, France eyes control of the ports of Odesa.

However, to partition Ukraine, the French need the Poles, and they both need the Germans. In this scenario, France acts as the "brain," Poland as the "shoes," and Germany as the "wallet".

RESPONSE

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative challenging Ukraine’s statehood, questioning its sovereignty, and presenting EU countries and the US as states with malicious intentions towards Ukraine. Its aim is also to deflect attention away from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

This disinformation message has adopted several different and sometimes contradictory forms, including allegations that Poland either wants to create a puppet proxy-state in Western Ukraine or annex these territories or that it is President Zelenskyy who wants to cede this land due to his “Polish origin”.

Poland, France and Germany adhere to international law regarding state borders, fully supports the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. No state, except the Russian Federation, violated Ukraine’s territorial integrity in a display of imperial, revisionist aggression.
