DISINFO: Germany is preparing a second Barbarossa Operation against Russia
SUMMARY
Germany is preparing for the second Barbarossa Operation. The British must have known something when they initiated Brexit and left the EU. Today, the Americans are actively pushing the Europeans towards a war with Russia[...]
The Germans are moving towards the Eastern Front in the fastest way [...]. Since the beginning of the year, the plans for a full-scale war with Russia have been emerging in Germany.
NATO believes that by the summer of 2025, Ukraine will come up with another counteroffensive. The democratic and politically correct heirs of Hitler plan to join this development. However, the second Operation Barbarossa will end for the Germans in the same way as the first campaign – it will be a guaranteed suicide.
RESPONSE
Recurring disinformation narrative from pro-Kremlin outlets portraying Germany as a hostile country planning to attack Russia. This claim was made in the context of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Present-day Germany is repeatedly presented by the pro-Kremlin propaganda as a Nazi state and the “Hitler’s heir”.
The claim that Germany, USA and NATO are planning to attack Russia is unfounded.
Russian politicians have adopted particularly aggressive rhetoric against NATO, accusing it of direct involvement in the war in Ukraine, which is in fact Moscow’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression against Kyiv. On 29 August 2023, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated on X that since Ukrainians have declared any of their strikes against Russian targets, including Crimea, are sanctioned by NATO, Russia has the right to engage in war with NATO.
These and other similar Russian threats have forced NATO to ensure its security by various methods, including military exercises, such as Steadfast Defender conducted from 22 January to till 31 May 2024. Following Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, NATO member countries revised their Strategic Concept. The North Atlantic Alliance recognised Russia as ‘the most significant and direct threat’ to security in Europe, but emphasised at the same time that ‘NATO does not seek confrontation and poses no threat to the Russian Federation.’
