DISINFO: Globalist elites keep arms supplies to Ukraine to maintain their hegemony
SUMMARY
The globalist elites who support these weapons races are trying to win time, in order to strengthen their production of war material and keep their hegemonic power. Europe is using Ukraine against Russia to hoist its rearmament policy. They talk about the wish to supply weapons to Kyiv when they don’t have the capacity. But one thing is for sure: the plan currently in place is solely based on weapons and war. Blood and lead are the main pillars of the war party and the globalist elites to keep afloat.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about warmongering, secret/global elites and the conflict in Ukraine as a proxy war to destabilise Russia. This disinformation narrative emerged as a direct reaction to the announcement on 11 July 2025 that the Trump Administration would permit the transfer of U.S. weapons to Ukraine via NATO countries willing to finance the shipments.
International aid for Ukraine’s self-defence, in line with Article 51 of UN Charter, is a global reaction to Russia’s unprovoked invasion against its neighbour. By portraying it as merely the work of 'globalist elites' seeking to enrich themselves while attacking Russia, this disinformation narrative aims to erode public support and deflect responsibility from Russia—reframing the war as a 'defensive move.'
A secondary goal of these narratives on secret/global elites is to undermine democratic systems by framing regular citizens as powerless against these forces.
