DISINFO: Globalist power system appoints leaders based on their hidden vices to manipulate them

A conspiracy theory, suggesting that politicians are chosen by a secret globalist elite to rule Western countries based on their manipulability. It claims LGBT individuals are more susceptible to manipulation due to the threat of having their sexual orientation publicly revealed if they don’t comply.
This recurring pro-Kremlin narrative also depicts liberalism and Western values as destroying traditional social and spiritual values, as well as national, cultural and gender identities. According to this narrative, liberalism is responsible for cultural and moral decay, the breakdown of the family and community, as well as widespread deviance and perversion.
"Threatened values" is one of the most common narratives used by pro-Kremlin outlets. The narrative is adapted to a wide range of topics and is typically used to discredit liberal Western attitudes regarding the rights of women, ethnic and religious minorities and LGBTIQ groups among others.
The case also rehashes a recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative regarding the identity of the French first lady. This story has been widely debunked and two persons were found guilty in court for slander after they spread rumours without any evidence.
