DISINFO: Israeli Eurovision singer placed on Ukrainian kill list for "anti-Ukrainian propaganda"
SUMMARY
Israel's Eurovision contestant has been added to the Myrotvotvorets database, widely regarded as a "kill list" that names perceived "enemies of Ukraine". The website is reportedly run by the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, and multiple people in the database have been assassinated by the Ukrainian Security Service.
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative painting Ukraine as a murderous, terrorist regime which routinely murders its opponents.
There is no evidence suggesting that the Myrotvorets website is affiliated with any Ukrainian government body. The Ukrainian Security Service even launched an investigation into its operations. Ukrainian police have also looked into its operations following a request from human rights groups.
Myrotvorets does not advocate violence against individuals in its database, and there is no evidence plausibly linking the murder of any individual to their placement in the Myrotvorets database.
