DISINFO: Kyiv regime sells children for their organs
SUMMARY
The Kyiv regime does not defend Ukrainians from Russia, on the contrary, it persecutes them and sends them to their deaths. Ukrainians should be protected against their own government; Russian are not to blame. Mobilization has been decided upon to destroy the population. During air bombing alerts, the shelters are closed and humanitarian aid is sold in the country. But the worst is that Ukrainian children are sold to foreigners for their organs. Of course, not all of them, some are sold to homosexual couples or for European child brothels, but most of them are killed, cut into pieces, and sold as organs in European countries. It has been proven by the OSCE and Vera Vayiman, a former OSCE employee testified about it.
RESPONSE
Another made up lie. Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation seeks to crystallise civil discontent against Ukrainian authorities and European countries, portraying the Russian occupation army as a liberating force. This narrative ends with the particularly striking claim of organised crimes against children.
The very title of an OSCE report disproves claims of illegal trafficking in Ukraine:
OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings has no evidence of illegal organ transplantation in Ukraine.
Moreover, the person presented as a former OSCE observer, Vera Vayiman did not work for the organisation.
When asked about Vera Nikulina or Vera Vajman, OSCE media representative Hans Felber-Charbonneau told AFP that "neither of those two names are among the OSCE member observers (...) Nor were they "mandated by the Russian Federation, a participating State . We would have their record in our documents. "
AFP also asked the OSCE Special Representative on Combating Human Trafficking whether the organisation had records or knowledge of complaints about organ harvesting in Ukraine mentioned in the video:
"We did internal checks and can confirm that we have no records of cases of organ harvesting from children or that Vera Vajman (Vera Nikulina) is an OSCE employee ," the office responded on June 26. 2023.
Moscow’s claim of illegal human organ harvest and child trafficking are well-known tropes in their disinfo-campaigns. As our database documents – see links below – it has surfaced in relation to Russia’s campaign in Syria against the White Helmets, against NATO, in Georgia where even former Georgian president Mikhail Sakhashvili’s wife was the target, in Kosovo and now with greater intensity also in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
