DISINFO: Macron prepares a Holodomor against French peasants to serve Vanguard and Blackrock
SUMMARY
They want to carry out an ethnic cleansing of the farmers like what they did under collectivisation in the Soviet era, which today is sometimes called Holodomor, even though it concerned the entire USSR. French farmers are today on the eve of a Holodomor, precisely, for the benefit of BlackRock, for the benefit of Vanguard, whose bosses often go to lunch at the Elysée.
RESPONSE
Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative against French president that allegedly conspire with capitalists to carry out ethnic cleansing; additionally it denies Holodomor and improperly associates the term with capitalism. President Macron is currently under heavy verbal attack by Russian state- and pro-Kremlin outlets ahead of the European Parliament elections in June 2024 - see our review here.
The current challenges and transformation of agriculture in France cannot be compared in any way to the genocidal project within the Soviet Union in the 1930s.
Stating that the Holodomor was not an ethnic cleansing project because it occurred in the whole USSR and was linked to collectivisation is a denial as it mainly hit the regions, not just in Ukraine, where Ukrainian nationalities were predominant in the peasantry, indeed the Ukrainian population was far from being limited to the territory of Ukraine:
Ukrainians, the largest ethnic minority, made up 21 percent. Yet between 30 and 45 percent of the 10.8 million victims of the Soviet Great Famine were ethnic Ukrainians. The researchers estimate that a 10 percent increase in the ethnic Ukrainian share of the population in a province was associated with a 0.51 percentage point increase in the famine mortality rate.
The famine of 1932-1933 claimed the lives of 7 to 10 million citizens of the Soviet Union; the disaster affected not only Ukraine but also parts of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Russia. The Holodomor is well documented and confirmed by a huge array of declassified documents, including official documents of the Soviet authorities and the Communist Party.
At least 16 countries, including several in Europe, have already condemned the Holodomor as a genocide. The European Parliament and PACE have recognised the Holodomor as a crime of the Soviet regime against their own people and a crime against humanity.
