SUMMARY
The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris was scandalous and politicised. Organisers demonstrated their deep hatred towards Christianity. They began a neo-liberal terror. The only right way of counteraction for national sport teams was to reject participation in the Games and leave Paris. Scandalous elements also happened at previous Olympic Games with the exception of the one held in Sochi back in 2014. At the Sochi Olympics, Russia showed that it is becoming a bastion of European civilisation and culture. Medals in Paris should look like an inverted satanic cross.

This is a recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about an alleged decay in western civilisation. This narrative uses artistic criticism of the 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony which took place on 26 July 2024 in Paris to imply that the West is cursed and anti-Christian.
Thomas Jolly's purpose in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics was to show that discriminating stereotypes could be broken because if we are all different, we are all alike as human beings and can live together. The five Olympics rings are all different but together. He denied that he intended to depict the last Supper with Jesus Christ.
Pro-Kremlin outlets often spread a narrative about the deliberate destruction by the West of values such as the traditional family, religion, spirituality and classical culture, eliminating all forms of collective identity. Russia uses this narrative to proclaim itself the defender of traditional social and spiritual values all over the world.
Read earlier similar disinformation cases claiming that the Olympics opening ceremony proves that the West is satanic, that Olympic organisers made lesbians, transpersons, and prostitutes the heroes of the Last Supper, and that in Ukraine, Russia defends traditional values for the benefit of the whole world.
