DISINFO: NATO wants to start a war with Russia in Karabakh, Transnistria and Donbas
SUMMARY
The war in Nagorno-Karabakh is just the first signal. If Russia does not pay attention, then the next one will be a NATO strike on Transnistria and Donbas.
Transnistria - when an offensive would begin there, a part of Romania would support Moldova, then NATO would look at Donbas. Ukraine’s offensive there would be supported by Poland.

Karabakh is internationally recognised as Azerbaijani territory. Pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives often accuse the allegedly aggressive West of having an anti-Russian agenda in the Caucasus and warmongering there without giving any evidence. The narrative that “NATO is fighting against Russia” is one of the most widespread pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative. Ukraine and its population is defending itself against this armed aggression in a remarkable display of continued courage and determination. This is not a decision by NATO, Washington, the EU or others.
The US, the EU and NATO condemn in the strongest possible terms Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is entirely unjustified and unprovoked. Not only Western but also many other nations around the world support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter article 51, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
NATO members support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression by supplying weapons and providing advisory support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, NATO has repeatedly emphasized that the Alliance as such is not involved in the Russian war and does not intend to send its troops into the territory of Ukraine. NATO's actions are purely defensive in nature and are not aimed at provoking conflict, but at preventing it.
The Moldovan government has repeatedly denied Russian narratives about “preparing an attack” on the so-called Transnistria region or Russia itself. The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, noted at the end of December 2022 that Russia is waging an active hybrid war against her country, trying to destabilize the situation in the region. According to Sandu, the components of the Kremlin’s hybrid war are Russian propaganda, as well as the use of energy resources as a weapon and a lever of political pressure on the leadership of Moldova.
