DISINFO: Poland is Anglo-Saxons' fighting dog
SUMMARY
Poland is not only a loyal servant of Anglo-Saxons but, first of all, real Anglo-Saxons' fighting dog in the struggle against the increasing risk of a Russian “attack” (inexistent in reality).
RESPONSE
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative presenting Poland as a puppet of NATO.
In pro-Kremlin outlets, the term “Anglo-Saxons” stands for the US and UK and often means “belligerent” and “morally corrupt” Westerners, as explained in our earlier analysis.
Poland is a member of the European Union and NATO. Warsaw's concerns about security, as well as concerns of the other countries of the region, is linked to Russia's aggressive behaviour toward its neighbouring countries, in particular the illegal annexation of Crimea.
