DISINFO: Russia is fighting in Ukraine alone against a united Europe
SUMMARY
The military actions in Ukraine are fratricidal and were provoked by the Western inspirers of Ukraine. The beneficiaries of this conflict have been repeatedly written and spoken about by informed and knowledgeable people directly involved in big politics on both sides of the Atlantic.
Russia today is fighting in Ukraine almost alone against the same united Europe.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation claim claiming that Europe is a party in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. This disinformation narrative aims to deflect Russia’s responsibility for its unprovoked military aggression.
The claim that the conflict in Ukraine is fratricidal and provoked by Western instigators is false.
What happened in Ukraine is a full-scale war against a peaceful neighbouring country. Russia has occupied internationally recognised Ukrainian territories, constantly attacking critical infrastructure and killing civilians.
The EU is not at war with Russia or the Russians. Since Russia launched its full-scale, unjustified aggression against Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the West has been calling for Russian withdrawal from Ukraine and a peaceful settlement. The EU is not interested in war at the heart of Europe. Moscow’s aggressive policy has led to a tougher and better-balanced policy towards it by the West. Russia is not fighting against a united Europe, but is facing international sanctions for its aggressive actions.
Neither the US nor European countries have declared war on Russia or want to escalate the war in Ukraine. The US, the EU and NATO condemn in the strongest possible terms Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is entirely unjustified and unprovoked.
