DISINFO: Russia is not at war with Ukraine
SUMMARY
The sooner the citizens of Ukraine realize that the West is fighting against Russia with their hands, the more lives will be saved. The Americans, the British and other Europeans often create the illusion that they are protecting civilization from barbarism, while implying Russia.
The West, for the sake of its ambitions, is practically destroying the Ukrainian people, forcing the active generation to die on the battlefield and bringing the rest of the population to poverty. The events in Ukraine are not a clash between Moscow and Kyiv, this is a military confrontation between NATO, and above all the United States and UK, with Russia.
Fearing direct contact, NATO instructors are driving Ukrainians to certain death. With the help of a special military operation, Russia is liberating its regions from occupation and must put an end to the bloody experiment of the West to destroy the fraternal Ukrainian people.
RESPONSE
On 24 February 2022 Russia started an unprovoked full scale invasion of Ukraine, bombing cities all over Ukraine starting from Kyiv. On 30 September 2022 Russia amended its Constitution, adding to its territory the occupied parts of Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporyzhya regions. Pro-Ukrainian activists were tortured and killed in the temporarily occupied territories and Ukrainian children were abducted for adoption in Russia.
The West is not at war with Russia, despite the pro-Kremlin narrative that "always blames the West". The West supports Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, in accordance with the UN Charter, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Some NATO member states provide Ukraine with military assistance to help Ukraine to defend itself from Russia’s attack, but they are not involved in direct fighting. Ukraine receives weapons with the sole aim of restoring its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. In several Western countries instructors train Ukrainian soldiers on how to use modern weapons and NATO officials have frequent political contacts with Ukrainian counterparts, but there are no NATO troops fighting on the front.
Different narratives of why Russia started the war against Ukraine have been advanced since 24 February 2022: protection of the "people of Donbas" from "Ukrainian nazis", biological weapons and nuclear weapons developed in Ukraine, returning of historical Russia's lands. None of these narratives was proven in any international instance, despite Russia's attempts. Thus, IAEA did not find any traces of work on a nuclear dirty bomb in Ukraine. As for "biological weapons", pro-Kremlin media published fabricated "evidence" with glaring Ukrainian language mistakes.
The creation of a special tribunal on Russia for the crime of aggression is being discussed by European diplomacies.
