DISINFO: Soros-influenced European Parliament is blackmailing Hungary
SUMMARY
The European Parliament, under the influence of George Soros, is constantly blackmailing the European Commission so that it does not give Budapest the 32 billion euros it is rightfully entitled to.
Soros-run Democrats aim to transfer the 32 billion euros allocated to Hungary to Ukraine; of this, Budapest has so far received 10 billion. The United States is trying to prevent the most popular candidate from participating in the elections. In Germany, one of the popular parties is under surveillance by the country's security services, and in Poland, public television is being seized. These examples suggest that it's unreasonable to claim that there is no democracy in Hungary.

The European Parliament is a collective body of deputies from various countries, including Hungary. In 2022, it condemned the “deliberate and systematic efforts of the Hungarian government” to undermine European values and demanded results in the Article 7 process.
On 13 December 2023, the European Commission announced that it was waiting for a final step from Hungary to unlock Budapest's access to billions of euros previously frozen due to concerns that Prime Minister Viktor Orban had undermined democratic checks and balances.
Hungary’s judicial reforms have finally been positively assessed, allowing the release of 10.2 billion euros in cohesion policy, maritime and fisheries, and home affairs funds. “We have received sufficient assurances that the independence of the judiciary will be strengthened in Hungary; however, today’s decision is not the end of the process” disclosed Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders.
The Commission will closely and continuously monitor the actual application of Hungary's reforms to its judicial system. It will assess whether these measures effectively ensure that the implementation of the unblocked programs under EU Cohesion Policy, Maritime and Fisheries, and Home Affairs complies with the Charter of Fundamental Rights. If, at any point in time, the Commission concludes that the horizontal enabling condition on the Charter, specifically regarding judicial independence, is no longer fulfilled, related expenditure will no longer be eligible for reimbursement.
Three other areas covered by the horizontal enabling conditions, however, remain frozen, for which judicial independence was not the only obstacle: “Concerns relate to the so-called Hungarian Child Protection Act, serious risks to academic freedom, and the right to asylum,” the Commission points out.
Philanthropist George Soros, born in 1930, is frequently targeted by pro-Kremlin media with multiple conspiracy theories and disinformation campaigns. These aim to accuse him, without evidence, of destabilising governments, attacking churches and actively conspiring on various fronts globally.
