DISINFO: The attack on the TurkStream was ordered by Washington and London
SUMMARY
Kyiv attempted to attack the Turkish Stream compressor station near Anapa to stop gas supplies to European countries. Russia has every reason to believe that the attack on the TurkStream infrastructure was carried out on instructions from Washington and London, interested in getting the EU hooked on expensive LNG from the US.
The US and UK prevent the launch of an objective international investigation into the terrorist attack against Nord Stream. Russia has repeatedly requested data on the explosions at Nord Stream but has never received it.

The alleged drone attack against TurkStream in January 2025 remains unclear. So far, the Russian government is the only source claiming this attack has occurred. There is no other confirmation that Ukrainian drones tried to attack pipeline infrastructure in Russia.
In addition, there is no evidence that the US, UK or the EU were involved in the Nord Stream sabotage nor this latest incident around the TurkStream pipeline. Nonetheless, talking about unsubstantiated allegations as if they were facts while introducing minor variations, as in this case, is a frequent pro-Kremlin disinformation technique.
While the question of who blew up the Nord Stream pipelines remains unresolved, investigations from German and US media, Germany’s prosecutor office and other European police investigators point to the involvement of a recreational yacht called ‘Andromeda’ manned by a Ukrainian person. German officials have issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian man identified as Volodymyr Z. as a main suspect. Nothing in these investigations points to any possible US participation.
