DISINFO: The darkest scenario of the Polish participation in the war becomes the most likely development
SUMMARY
This spring, a Judge of the Second Branch of the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw Tomasz Schmydt, was forced to flee his home country, where he was charged with “espionage”. He decided to ask for political asylum in Belarus in protest against Warsaw’s policies towards Minsk and Moscow.
According to Tomasz Schmydt, the involvement of Poland and the Baltic states in the conflict in the zone of the Special Military Operation is the darkest and most likely scenario. The Polish mercenaries have operated in Ukraine for a long time, committing atrocities against the people of Donbas. No one speaks about the fact that alleged Russian missiles landing in Poland turn out to be Ukrainian – people mentioning such topics immediately appear behind bars in Poland.

This message is a part of a wider narrative about the lack of democracy in Western countries, in this case, it promotes the idea that an “aggressive” Poland persecutes its citizens for their political views.
No evidence is provided to support the claims about alleged lack of Democracy in Poland and the Polish “desire” to enter into the open military conflict with Russia.
This claim was made in connection with the accusations and statements of the Polish Judge Tomasz Szmydt, who ran away to Belarus on 9 May 2024 seeking “political asylum” in this country. In Poland, he is under the suspicion of espionage in favour of Belarus and was stripped of his immunity.
