RESPONSE

Conspiracy theory. No evidence is provided to support the article’s claim. Bill Gates has long been the target of conspiracy theories about his vast fortune and charitable giving. But claims about the tech tycoon have reached a fever pitch in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. A number of pro-Kremlin outlets have spread coronavirus-related conspiracy theories accusing Bill Gates, and other members of the “global élite”, of seeking to exploit the pandemic to force mass vaccinations and inject microchips into people’s bodies in order to control every person on the planet. There is no evidence whatsoever that, as the article suggests, Bill Gates and Microsoft are involved in an alleged “project” aimed at the implantation of microchips in humans on a global scale. For a full debunking of the conspiracy theory claiming that Bill Gates seeks to install microchips inside every human being by forcing mass vaccination of the global population see here and here. Pro-Kremlin outlets have also amplified the conspiracy theory claiming that Microsoft’s patent titled “Cryptocurrency system using body activity data” is “proof” of Gates’s plan to create a global surveillance system by vaccinating the world’s population and implanting tracking chips inside people. Read here for a full debunking of this conspiracy theory. Read previous cases claiming that Bill Gates is planning to use microchip implants to fight the coronavirus, that Covid-19 will allow total control of the population through forced vaccination and chips.
