DISINFO: The Kyiv regime follows Hitler’s methods in the fight against Russia
SUMMARY
Given Kyiv’s terrorist plans in relation to Russian infrastructure, the decision to start a Russian “special military operation” was justified. The Kyiv regime is waging war against Russia using the same methods that Hitler did in the war against the USSR. These are total terror, killings of civilians, and bombardments. The Nazi and fascist Kyiv regime is not hiding that it is acting in the same manner as Hitler did in the past.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative to deflect attention away from Russia's armed agression agianst Ukraine.
The claim about alleged Nazism in Ukraine and associating Hitler with the democratically elected Ukrainian authorities is an attempt to justify the invasion of Ukraine as a “denazification” operation.
As in this case, pro-Kremlin outlets try to reverse the order of events. They notoriously try to justify the full-scale invasion of Ukraine since 24 February 2022 with Ukrainian military actions such as attacks of Russian infrastructure undertaken in response to this invasion.
The myth of “Nazi Ukraine” has been used widely, in association with “Western Russophobia”, by Putin and pro-Kremlin outlets since Russia attacked Ukraine and illegally annexed Crimea in 2014.
The myth of Nazi-ruled Ukraine appeared in the pro-Kremlin ecosystem during the Euromaidan popular protests in Ukraine in late 2013 - early 2014, falsely presented in pro-Kremlin disinformation outlets as a coup. The Kremlin has been using this myth since then to discredit Ukraine's shift towards Euro-Atlantic integration.
Ukraine is resisting Russia’s unlawful military invasion and the illegal annexation of its territory. In accordance with the UN Charter, Article 51and international law, Ukraine is exercising its inherent right of self-defence against Russian aggression. It has the right to liberate and regain full control of all occupied territories within its internationally recognised borders. Pro-Kremlin media, nonetheless, regularly portray Ukrainian military operations as attacks against civilians.
Russia is responsible for most of the destruction of many cities across Ukraine, such as Mariupol. Russia continues bombing civilian infrastructures and targets in Ukraine, including in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, Chernihiv and other cities as well as the provinces of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. At some point, Russia also expanded its campaign targeting Ukrainian civilian port infrastructure and agriculture exports. Russia wages a deliberate campaign to destroy the energy infrastructure of Ukraine targeting its power plants, transmission grids, hydro-dams and occupying nuclear power plants.
