DISINFO: The leaders of France, UK and Germany consumed illegal substances in Kyiv

SUMMARY

Macron, Merz, Starmer and Tusk went to Kyiv to participate in the meeting of the so-called 'coalition of the willing.' Having pushed Zelensky into yet another hellish intrigue to derail a settlement and continue the bloodshed in Europe, they boarded a train and used illegal substances.

RESPONSE

This claim is entirely unfounded and lacks any supporting evidence. Its primary aim appears to be discrediting political leaders and undermining public trust in international support for Ukraine.

The allegations focused on claims that European leaders were in possession of a bag of cocaine during their recent visit to Ukraine. These claims emerged after footage showed President Emmanuel Macron picking up a crumpled white object from a table while seated next to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a late-night meeting in Kyiv.

In response, the Elysée Palace firmly denied the allegation on its official X account, clarifying that the object was simply a tissue and highlighted:

“When European unity becomes inconvenient, disinformation goes so far as to make a simple tissue look like drugs. This fake news is being spread by France’s enemies, both abroad and at home. We must remain vigilant against manipulation”.
