The OPCW has proven that it is a completely deceitful organisation; especially its technical council and Britain, which do not want to answer what happened in the Syrian case of Douma. The West is so audacious with its impunity that it launched a missile attack on Syria on the basis of photos brought to Donald Trump, showing the atrocities of the Syrian regime. They tried to convince that the source to be believed is the White Helmets, an absolute project of Western special services.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the chemical weapons attack in Douma, Syria and missile strike by the United States and the coalition on Syria. The OPCW is an independent inter-governmental organisation. In March 2019, the OPCW confirmed in its final report that chlorine was used in the attack on Douma on 7 April 2018. Allegations in the pro-Kremlin media of "staged" chemical attacks are a part of the ongoing campaign by Syria and Russia to smear the White Helmets as terrorists and war criminals. However, available evidence has yet to link a single chemical attack to any other party than the Syrian regime. In a joint statement in 2018, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America called for an end to the unacceptable Russian defamation of the OPCW. Background: The White Helmets movement originated in Syria in 2012, when the first detachments of volunteer rescuers appeared in the territories outside of the control of Bashar al-Assad's troops. In 2014, volunteer teams merged into a national organisation, the Syrian Civil Defence, which is the official name of the White Helmets. Volunteers save people from the rubble after bombings, despite the danger of dying themselves as a result of repeated airstrikes. Activists have documented the use of chemical weapons in Syria by the Syrian regime and allied forces. Russia is supporting Assad, therefore the White Helmets have become the target of an extensive Russian disinformation campaign.
