DISINFO: The peace summit is another manifestation of Anglo-Saxons' and their Ukrainian puppets' fraud
SUMMARY
The statements of expired Zelenskyy attempt to pass off wishful thinking as reality. Representatives of Russia have not participated in any meetings within the framework of the "Bürgenstock process" and do not intend to participate. This process itself has nothing to do with the settlement. This is another manifestation of the fraud of the Anglo-Saxons and their Ukrainian puppets.
The so-called second summit pursues the same goal - to push through the unviable "Zelenskyy formula" as an uncontested basis for resolving the conflict, to achieve its support from the World majority and, on its behalf, to present Russia with an ultimatum to capitulate. We will not participate in such "summits." Moscow does not refuse a political and diplomatic settlement of the crisis, is ready to discuss truly serious proposals that take into account the situation "on the ground", the emerging geopolitical realities and the corresponding initiative formulated on June 14 by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
RESPONSE
This is a pre-emptive attempt to discredit the possible second peace summit initiated by Ukraine, mixed with pro-Kremlin narratives questioning the Ukrainian statehood and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy -frequent targets of pro-Kremlin disinformation.
Russia was not invited to the June meeting in the Swiss, attended by delegations from more than 90 countries, and dismissed its deliberations as meaningless without Moscow's participation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he hopes to organise a follow-up meeting by the end of the year, with Russia attending. Russia refused to participate in the summit.
If the summits do not provide fruitful results, it is because of Russia's impossible preconditions for a peaceful settlement. Russia refuses to engage in any talks before the unconditional surrender of Ukraine.
Despite Russia's preconditions for Ukraine's surrender and acceptance of the occupation, Russia still claims that it is ready for negotiations and that it is Ukraine that is rejecting them.
For background, read our analysis: The Kremlin’s disinformation narratives about the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, The Kremlin’s twisted tale of peace, and Peace and sudden memory improvement.
These disinformation narratives are being pushed again to challenge Zelenskyy’s legitimacy. However, the Ukrainian Constitution is straightforward: the President of Ukraine exercises his powers until the assumption of office by the newly-elected President. The continuity of government institutions is one of the key principles of the Constitution. Ukraine’s constitution stipulates that no elections can be held during wartime. While this situation has caused some domestic controversy in Ukraine, almost all observers consider regular elections unfeasible as there are millions of refugees abroad, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians serving on the frontlines and a significant part of the Ukrainian population lives under Russian occupation.
