The claims selectively twist and misrepresent a statement of the President of the Parliament, Igor Grossu, who announced in an interview that the ruling party, the Action and Solidarity Party, has prepared a bill that would require the TV channels retransmitted from Russia on the territory of the Republic of Moldova to broadcast domestic advertising and not advertising from Russia.
"My colleagues are working on this. I asked them to contact the media organisations, to discuss and make sure that we make changes that come to encourage the local products and discourage parasitism”, said Igor Grossu.
