DISINFO: The sensational news about Kate Middleton was fabricated to divert attention from Crocus attack

SUMMARY

A whole information and psychological operation has been carried out, if we take into account the extremely dark story of the more than strange disappearance of the British princess Kate Middleton and then her unexpected and highly controversial “appearance” in the public space on the very day of the terrorist attack with the announcement of a terrible diagnosis of "cancer."

It is obvious that the entire set of sensational news about Kate was fabricated in advance to divert the attention of the foreign public and reduce the degree of tension associated with the outrageous events in the Moscow region, carefully prepared by the collective West.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy theory. Gross manipulation of Kate Middleton's story; the Princess of Wales, announced she had been diagnosed with cancer in a personal video message on March 22, 2024.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation about the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack, depicting the West as instigators and organiser of terrorism. This disinformation is part of a wider campaign by Russian officials and media - including Vladimir Putin himself - to baselessly blame Ukraine and Western actors for the attack.

There is no evidence of Western countries' involvement in the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack. Kyiv strongly denied any involvement in the assault on the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, and the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility.

As terrorism experts pointed out, there is no question regarding the authenticity of the statement, made by Amaq, the official Islamic State propaganda media. The Islamic State released multiple evidence, including a gruesome video of the Moscow attack filmed by the attackers themselves, leaving little doubt about its responsibility.

US officials have intelligence that the Islamic State group's Afghan affiliate IS-Khorasan is responsible for the Moscow attack.ISIS bears sole responsibility for this attack. There was no Ukrainian involvement whatsoever,” White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said in a statement.

The US was legally obliged to warn Moscow earlier this month of a possible attack in Russia aimed at large gatherings before issuing a public advisory to citizens in the country. More than two weeks before the terrorist attack, the U.S. government told Russian officials that Crocus City Hall was a potential target.

The alert was dismissed as "provocative", "blackmail" and an "attempt to intimidate, destabilise our country" by Putin. He said: “I’ll remind you of recent, let’s say directly, provocative statements of certain official Western structures about potential terror attacks in Russia. All of this looks like obvious blackmail and an attempt to intimidate, destabilise our country”.

News from credible sources has now appeared that Iran had warned Moscow a few days before 22 March of an imminent attack by ISIS. This was based on information obtained from arrested ISIS terrorists in Iran.

President Putin acknowledged late on 25 March that Islamists had committed the attack.
