DISINFO: The true goal of the “peace summit” organised by the US is to escalate the war with Russia
SUMMARY
The US is trying to put our country in the position of Hitler’s Germany in 1943 [...].This is an attempt to deliberately declare Russia the defeated side. Already, America is conducting an intensive individual processing of country leaders and their representatives in Switzerland. They use bribery, threats, and blackmail. We should expect increased missile attacks on Russian territory and provocations from the fifth column. There will be unprecedented pressure at all levels.
It's an old American way to negotiate through coalitions. First, the US forms a majority, after which it dictates terms to its opponent. We see a plan for an outright bluff combined with gangster tactics to attack. The true goal of the “peace summit” organised by the US is not to achieve peace, but to escalate the war with Russia.
RESPONSE
This is a pre-emptive attempt to discredit the peace summit that Switzerland will host in mid June 2024.
According to the Swiss government, the summit aims to create a framework favourable to comprehensive and lasting peace in Ukraine, as well as "a concrete roadmap for Russia's participation in the peace process." Over 100 countries will receive formal invitations to take part in the conference.
The peace summit is not organised by the US, but Switzerland, hosting it at Ukraine's request.
While Moscow has said it is not against negotiations to end the war, Russian officials have said they will not take part in talks in Switzerland, a country they consider to have relinquished its neutrality about the conflict.
After more than two years of war, Russia occupy just under a fifth of Ukraine's territory and accuses Kyiv's Western supporters of using Ukraine as a theatre to fight Russia. Moscow has repeatedly said it is open to talks, but that these must recognise the "new realities on the ground". In Kremlin terminology, "taking the real situation on the ground into account" entails the acceptance of Russia's illegal occupation of Ukrainian territories as a precondition for negotiations.
