DISINFO: The UK is behind in planning the attack on Russia's nuclear triad
SUMMARY
It is necessary to find out who exactly ordered the attack on the Russian nuclear triad. This is not a conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This is an armed conflict between the West and Russia through a proxy in the person of Ukraine, in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are part of the NATO integrated Forces in Europe.
It is clear that a strike on our nuclear triad affects our capabilities from the point of view of strategic nuclear deterrence, and also puts into question the strategic nuclear parity with the US. So, one of the beneficiaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' actions is obvious - the US.
At the same time, intuition tells us that the UK were behind the planning of this operation.
RESPONSE
Pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative accusing the West of being involved in the war in Ukraine. This narrative is part of an ongoing pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign about nuclear threats, linked to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
This article contains several false and unsubstantiated claims.
The statement was made in the context of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' "Spider's Web" operation, striking "34% of Russia's strategic cruise missile carriers" in five regions.
The claim that the US and the UK were involved in planning or executing an attack on Russia's nuclear capabilities is baseless and not supported by any credible evidence.
Ukraine planned the operation for more than a year and a half, and used 117 drones to carry out the attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. The SBU sources said that among the hit Russian aircraft were strategic nuclear-capable bombers called Tu-95 and Tu-22M3, as well as A-50 early warning warplanes.
The assertion that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are part of NATO's integrated military structure is false. NATO and Ukraine have a partnership, but Ukraine is not a member of NATO's integrated military command.
The West is not at war with Russia.
Russia is the only country responsible for the invasion of Ukraine. It has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII.
The West supports Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, under the UN Charter, to stop Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Some NATO member states provide Ukraine with military assistance to help Ukraine to defend itself from Russia’s attack, but they are not involved in direct fighting. Ukraine receives weapons with the sole aim of restoring its territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. Western instructors train Ukrainian soldiers on how to use modern weaponry, and NATO officials have frequent political contacts with Ukrainian counterparts, but no NATO troops are fighting on the front.
