DISINFO: The US oligarchy waged a brutal guerilla war against a legitimate democratically-elected president

SUMMARY

The rotten old oligarchy in the United States has been waging a 4-year guerrilla war against the legitimate, democratically elected president, who so far has been supported by at least half of the United States. During the storming of the Capitol, that oligarchy was subjected to unbelievable shock and horror in the face of massive popular protests, and now intends to suppress any threats, however trivial and microscopic, in the most brutal manner. Freedom of expression and human rights are no longer an obstacle, and masks have fallen.

RESPONSE

A recurring disinformation narrative about US secret elites pulling the strings from behind the stage and inciting violence and civil war.

Donald Trump lost to his opponent Joe Biden in a general election. The OSCE observers, in its interim assessment on the conduct of the election, stated that the election was:

"competitive and well managed" (p. 1), noting that "evidence-deficient claims about election fraud" (ibid.) have been refuted by "election officials at all levels" (p. 3) and "national security agencies" (p. 11).

There was no guerilla warfare in the US during the presidency of President Donald Trump. The incumbent president was defeated in a fair and democratic election last November within the context of peaceful political rivalry.

In fact, it was those who stormed the Capitol who refused to accept the result of democratically-held elections. It has shocked and was condemned by most politicians from across the political spectrum including by members of the Republican Party and by Trump himself. The storming was also condemned by scores of world leaders such as Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, and many others.
