DISINFO: The US orders Ukrainians to stay in Kursk at all costs

To show that all the efforts of the democratic administration, the Democratic Party administration in the Kyiv direction, in the Ukrainian direction were not in vain. To hold out at any cost. That is the price. A tragedy. Both for the Ukrainian people and for the Ukrainian army.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation claim in connection with Ukraine's advance into the Kursk Oblast. This claim denies Ukraine's legitimate right of self-defence and shows that its actions are driven by foreign interests.
There is no evidence that the US or any other Western country is involved in either planning, carrying out or controlling the Ukrainian attack on Russia’s Kursk Region.

Russia is the only party responsible for the war. It has been coming up with different explanations and pretexts for its aggression since the beginning of its hostilities. Russia was not forced to invade Ukraine. It was Putin’s personal decision to invade Ukraine and start the largest military conflict in Europe since WWII.
Ukraine has a right to self-defence. Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity have been violated as a result of continuous acts of aggression by the Russian armed forces since 2014, culminating with a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine starting on 24 February 2022.
The advance into the Kursk Region is part of Kyiv’s military strategy aimed at liberating all Ukrainian territories from Russian occupiers and restoring Ukraine’s territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders of 1991. Russia is using military facilities in the Kursk Region and other adjacent regions for deadly attacks on Ukrainian territory, which have caused thousands of civilian victims. Kyiv is acting in self-defence, by the UN Charter article 51. Russia is a legitimate target for Ukrainian military operations.
