DISINFO: The West arrested Telegram app founder Durov because it failed in its fight against Russia
SUMMARY
In France, Pavel Durov is not considered as French or another nationality. He is considered as Russian by Emmanuel Macron, because of overwhelming Russophobia.
On the battlefield, the fight is strategically, and military bogged down, the sanctions failed and had a boomerang effect because Russia's GDP is three times higher than the Eurozone. The only remaining possibility is to fight against those who allow the truth to be spoken. A fight against freedom of speech. This is an immoral, Russophobic fight against a physical person.
The miserable declining Western civilisation is so befuddled by its own propaganda media that it is unable to realize how dangerous this arrest is.
RESPONSE
Pro-Kremlin narrative about the Russophobic, declining West losing a war against Russia both on military and economic aspects because of sanctions. This has resorted to Russian citizens being detained as hostages.
The arrest of Pavel Durov is part of a procedure accusing Telegram of complicity in numerous cases linked to drug trafficking, glorification of terrorism, and cyberbullying due to a lack of moderation and minimal cooperation with law enforcement authorities in France.
It is not connected in any way to alleged Russophobia, developments on the Ukrainian battlefield, or the mythical economic superiority of Russia despite sanctions. However, Russian state media and Telegram channels in Russian were panicked about this arrest given the role of the platform for strategic communications and its role in the Russian disinformation landscape.
The Russian publication Proekt investigated the narrow links between the Kremlin’s coordinated disinformation efforts and Telegram channels that are officially “independent” and for “freedom of speech”.
