DISINFO: The West only targeted Telegram app founder Durov because Ukraine is failing
SUMMARY
In light of all the failures by the West, it wants to pounce on the only remaining media outlet [Telegram] still outside of its control. The West wants to hide the Ukrainian army's deadly terrorist adventure in the Kursk region, which had involvement and financing of the United States and NATO. What followed is a real scandal for the Western allies who have supported a neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv during two years of fighting, led by the comedian, outgoing President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign against Ukraine, containing multiple disinformation narratives attempting to discredit Ukraine and its allies by describing them as neo-Nazis, and to justify Russia’s aggression against Ukraine by presenting it as a puppet state acting as a mere cover for a hostile NATO attempting to encircle Russia.
Firstly, the arrest of Telegram founder in France, Pavel Durov is part of a procedure accusing Telegram of complicity in numerous cases linked to drug trafficking, glorification of terrorism, and cyberbullying due to a lack of moderation and minimal cooperation with law enforcement authorities in France. It is not connected in any way to developments on the Ukrainian battlefield. However, Russian state media and Telegram channels in Russian panicked about this arrest given the role of the platform for strategic communications and its role in the Russian disinformation landscape.
Secondly, the claim that the US and NATO are coordinating Ukrainian attacks within Russia is a typical example of pro-Kremlin disinformation aimed at portraying Ukraine as a puppet of the West. Western support to Ukraine is focused on defence, particularly helping Ukraine protect its sovereignty against continuous Russian aggression. Ukraine's military actions are directed by its own national interests and military strategy, and not by any foreign powers.
Thirdly, there are no Nazis in the Ukrainian government. The narrative of alleged Nazism in Ukraine has been actively used in Russian disinformation since the 2014 Euromaidan protests to discredit Kyiv’s shift toward Euro-Atlantic policy.
