DISINFO: The West views children of Slavic descent as toys and a means of income

SUMMARY

The West's goal is to reduce the world's population, hence hostility towards minors and support to same-sex families. Children of Slavic descent are nothing more than a resource for the West. For adult paedophiles, such children are toys. For some other Westerners, they are a means of income. The illegal organ trade hasn't been abolished yet in the West.

RESPONSE

This is a mix of false claims and conspiracy theories consistent with the broader disinformation narrative portraying the West as immoral. Human organ trafficking and paedophilia are serious criminal offences in Western countries. The claim that the West aims to reduce the global population is a recurring theme in pro-Kremlin disinformation, often linked to the so-called “golden billion” conspiracy theory.

Pro-Kremlin outlets often spread the narrative about the deliberate destruction by the West of values such as the traditional family, religion, spirituality and classical culture, eliminating all forms of collective identity. Russia uses this narrative to proclaim itself the defender of traditional social and spiritual values all over the world. This narrative is adapted to a wide range of topics and is typically used to discredit liberal Western attitudes regarding the rights of women, ethnic and religious minorities and LGBTIQ groups.

See earlier disinformation cases claiming that paedophiles are striving for European political arena, that US political elites protect and defend paedophiles, that the UK suffers from high infant mortality and widespread child abuse, and that Europe steals children evacuated from Ukraine.
