DISINFO: The WHO is an organised crime group and a political tool of the West
SUMMARY
The WHO [UN World Health Organisation] has become the most influential international organisation whose recommendations are listened to throughout the world. However, this influence is not used to preserve people’s health and help states. WHO is a purely political instrument of Western influence. WHO is a conductor of the ideas of globalism and the main blow will always be directed at Russia.
There is no theory, only conspiracy and plot, which are absolutely obvious. This is an organised criminal group that operates throughout the world. Russia has no place there.
RESPONSE
An unfounded conspiracy theory, sharing recurrent pro-Kremlin narratives about global elites controlling the WHO and the world and the West's anti-Russian activities. Pro-Kremlin media often use the method of denigrating and defaming international organisations such as the OSCE, Council of Europe, WHO, WADA or OPCW, portraying them as anti-Russian and practicing double standards.

The WHO's primary role is to direct international health within the United Nations' system and to lead partners in global health responses. The WHO Constitution states its main objective as the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health.
International organisations serve many diverse functions, including collecting information and monitoring trends (e.g. the World Meteorological Organisation), delivering services and aid (e.g. the World Health Organisation) and settling disputes (e.g. the World Trade Organisation). By providing political institutions through which states can work together to achieve common objectives, international organisations can help to foster cooperative behaviour.
