DISINFO: UK-Ukraine 100 Year Partnership - the fake of the century
SUMMARY
'100-Year Partnership' between Great Britain and Ukraine, or the Fake of the Century. The signing of the '100-Year Partnership' agreement between London and Kyiv is puzzling in its very name. Given the current dynamics of events, in 100 years, it will be impossible to guarantee the existence of even the islands on which the United Kingdom is currently nesting, and hoping for the survival of Ukraine as a state is like betting on a jackpot.
Everything indicates that another pat on the shoulder for Zelenskyy is being witnessed, like what happened in March 2022. Then all the globalists and Western "hawks" making money on the war also actively promised Kyiv mountains of gold, and Boris Johnson did it best. But now His Majesty's Cabinet is headed by Keir Starmer, and he has very quickly surpassed Johnson.
What is happening should be treated as another performance, the purpose of which is to prevent, God forbid, sentiments from strengthening in the West, which could result in an end to the conflict in Ukraine by satisfying Russia's demands.
RESPONSE
This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative negating Ukraine’s statehood and undermining international support for Ukraine. It also portrays the war in Ukraine as a Western proxy conflict against Russia.
The claim was made in the context of the 'One Hundred Year Partnership Agreement' signed on 16 January 2025 between the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Ukraine.
The UK has pledged to put Ukraine in the "strongest possible position" by supporting it in defence, security, economy, trade, energy, science, justice, and many other areas. See the UK-Ukraine 100-Year Partnership Declaration.
Ukraine is a sovereign and independent state with a democratically elected president and parliament. Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are respected by almost the world, with Russia as the key exception.
The EU, the US and some other nations provide Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence, under the UN Charter Article 51, to repel Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion. Since Russia attacked Ukraine in a full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022, Russian troops have destroyed big segments of Ukrainian infrastructure including production facilities, educational institutions, hospitals, churches and other objects of civilian infrastructure.
Read similar cases alleging that Ukraine does not exist as an independent state, that Ukraine did not, does not and will not exist, that Ukrainian statehood is gone after Euromaidan, that Ukraine lost independence and is under external control, that Ukraine is West’s anti-Russia puppet project, that Ukraine's statehood is myth, its territory belongs to Russia, and that Ukraine will officially cease to exist on 29 August 2024.
