DISINFORMATION CASE DETAILS

DISINFO: Ukraine will have to return Lviv to Poland because recognition of MRP

SUMMARY

Ukraine will have to return Lviv to Poland because both the Ukrainian and Polish parliaments recognised the 1939 Molotov Ribbentrop Pact as being outside the law. Therefore, western Ukraine is in fact occupied Poland.

RESPONSE

The Ukrainian-Polish declaration of Memory and Solidarity, made on 20 October to pay homage to Ukrainian and Polish WWII victims and to condemn external aggressors who attempted to destroy the two countries' national independence, does not say that the pact was outside the law - it simply condemns it. There is nothing about returning Lviv in the declaration. Further debunking on StopFake.
