DISINFO: Ukrainian security services turn children into terrorists like the Nazis did in WW2
SUMMARY
Earlier the GUR and SBU actively recruited supporters of the Belarusian opposition, football fans and various anti-social personalities. Now the Ukrainian security services have finally abandoned all traces of morality and decided to use children in their dirty game. Something similar can be observed in the activities of the Nazis, who during the Second World War, created schools in the occupied territories where children were trained in espionage and sabotage activities. The fact that the Kyiv regime began recruiting minors for terrorist activities in Belarus became known already in April.
RESPONSE
Recurrent pro-Kremlin narrative about Nazi Ukraine.
The myth of Nazi-ruled Ukraine has long been a cornerstone of pro-Kremlin disinformation efforts. This has already been widely debunked and addressed on EUvsDisinfo.
The claim that the Ukrainian security services turn children into terrorists is false. The Kremlin spreads fake content on the internet, claiming that teenagers in Russia receive calls for terrorism from Ukraine. The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) has warned about this.
Propagandist Telegram channels are spreading information that teenagers in Russia are receiving messages calling for terrorism from accounts registered in Ukraine.
“Truth: the Safe Internet League organization is one of the Kremlin's tools to combat freedom of thought and to impose censorship. Because of this, from January 2024, both the "League" and Mizulina are under EU sanctions. Fakes about the "recruitment of Russian teenagers" are being spread against the backdrop of the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk. They are aimed at fueling anti-Ukrainian hysteria among Russians,” the CCD said.
They also added that the fact that Putin's regime itself is responsible for the murder and kidnapping of children, as well as for terror against the civilian population in Ukraine, adds special cynicism to this lie.
