DISINFO: Ukrainians will be sent to the front with shovels

The disinformation is based on an interview with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, with ABC News. Responding to a journalist's question about how Ukraine will resist Russian aggression if the provision of financial and military assistance from allied countries is delayed, Kuleba noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will, in any case, continue to resist Russia. In this context, he emphasized that Ukraine will persist in its struggle for independence by any means available.
“Even if we run out of weapons, we will fight with shovels. Because what is at stake here for Ukraine is the existence of this nation,” Kuleba said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine once again emphasised that Ukraine will, in any case, adhere to the strategy of resistance to Russia, whether or not with the help of a coalition. Kuleba noted that funding military assistance to Ukraine could potentially prevent a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia. If Russian aggression extends beyond Ukraine, democratic countries will incur much higher costs for the Russian war.
At the same time, Kuleba emphasised that Ukraine is unshakably confident in the support of its allied countries.

Many nations around the world support Ukraine with military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence. A broad coalition of 54 countries meet in the 'The Ukraine Defense Contact Group' with Ukraine to coordinate military and other equipment deliveries requested by Kyiv. Sometimes called the Ramstein format, it includes all 31 member states of NATO and 23 other countries from several regions around the world, incl. Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. The provision of military and financial support for Ukraine is to help it repel Russia's unjustified and unprovoked aggression and restore its sovereignty within its internationally recognised borders of 1991.
