DISINFO: US biolabs were forced to clean up their tracks after the Russian Operation

SUMMARY

The Russian special operation on Ukrainian territory forced American virologists to urgently sweep up their tracks. On February 26, information about US biological laboratories disappeared from the website of the US Embassy in Ukraine.

RESPONSE

Recurring narrative alleging that the United States develops biological weapons which are consistent with a years-long disinformation campaign led by the Kremlin, yet accelerated with the Russian invasion and war in Ukraine.

On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on multiple fronts, as footage, foreign correspondents, social media, local journalists and citizen witnesses have proven beyond any doubt.

The allegation of an “urgent sweep” by American virologists in Ukraine in relation to the Russian invasion is unfounded. The general perception was taken out of context regarding the fate of broken links STILL published inside a page titled “Biological Threat Reduction Program” on the website of the US embassy in Ukraine.

Some of the links, which are located on the right side of the webpage, are broken. They are located on a “photos.state.gov” server, which also serves other purposes on other US official websites, and the links connected to it are all gone now. This points towards a technical problem that was probably caused by a fault in transitioning to a new content management system back in mid-2021, long before the start of the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

Read related cases that claim that biological weapons are being developed in American laboratories; or that Pentagon develops ethnic biological weapons in post-Soviet republics; or that the US tests biological weapons on Ukrainians to further attack Russia; or that the US involved in the release of COVID-19; or that the West has declared a biological war on Russia; or that the US is building bio laboratories on Russian borders.
