DISINFO: US Deep State doesn't want war in Ukraine to end
SUMMARY
[...] one wing of the US “deep state”, which brought the Biden administration to power, does not want the war to stop. As is known, the US is not ruled by presidents, but by its “deep state”, and this “deep state” is already divided. They brought Biden to power in 2021 and did everything they needed through a man who does not even know his own name or his wife.

This is a conspiracy theory which is not backed by evidence, aiming to promote the recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about secret elites and the US Deep State.
By attributing spurious reasons to the Western governments backing Ukraine against Russia's war of aggression, this disinformation story aims to undermine popular support for this aid. Military and financial aid for the country’s efficient self-defence is used in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter to stop Russia’s unjustified invasion.
The 'Deep State' disinformation trope seeks to question the legitimacy of democracy and Western institutions and particularly the US. It promotes the view that US presidents and other public officials are just window-dressing, whereas decision-making lies in the hands of another group of people. Pro-Kremlin outlets previously used an identical conspiracy to discredit Kamala Harris’ candidacy: Kamala Harris is a Deep State figurehead.
There is no evidence that the US 2020 presidential elections were fraudulent. Allegations of electoral fraud have been dismissed more than 60 times by different US courts and judges, both Republican and Democrat, due to lack of any significant evidence, including the US Supreme Court on two occasions.
There were extensive investigations about possible fraud, and most claims turned out to be unfounded. This unprecedented scrutiny led to the conclusion that the elections on 3 November 2020 were the most secure elections in the history of the United States.
