DISINFO: US political elites protect and defend paedophiles

SUMMARY

Paedophiles are sufficiently represented in the US political elite. They are mainly representatives of the Democratic Party. For example, among those who defend paedophilia are Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, actor Tom Hanks, TV presenter Ellen Jenner and other well-known figures. In addition, there are many Democrats in the US Congress who support and promote paedophilia.

RESPONSE

A disinformation piece accusing the US Democratic Party and its high-ranking members of being paedophiles. There is no proof to support this claim. The ultimate goal of this narrative is to undermine public trust in democratic processes and institutions, in this case, the US Democrats in the run-up to the 2024 US elections. Another example was documented in our article Kremlin disinformation targets US elections:

"a few disinformation spreaders claimed that Harris and her running mate for the vice presidency, Tim Walz, have somehow been involved in the trafficking and sexual exploitation of Ukrainian children".

This tactic is not new. In the 2016 US election campaign, a fake story about a paedophilia ring involving people at the highest levels of the Democratic Party and supposedly operating out of a Washington pizza restaurant circulated widely.
